Online Psychological Assessment – WebNeuro
WebNeuro is an online psychological assessment covering cognitive, emotional and social factors. All of this is completed from the comfort of your own home, at your own pace. With a comprehensive report and feedback consultation included, WebNeuro gives you great insights about any troubles you face on a daily basis.
Why use WebNeuro?
You might have the feeling that something’s not quite right, but you can’t put your finger on it.
The difficulties we have can sometimes be tricky to pinpoint and identify. You might find yourself saying things like:
- ‘Why do I get distracted during conversations?’
- ‘How come my child struggles to follow simple instructions?’
- ‘My memory doesn’t seem to be what it use to!’
- ‘Social situations seem to be harder than they use to.’
- ‘I just can’t find the right word!’
- ‘Why can’t I make a plan and stick to it?’
- ‘I never seem to be on time!’
The processes behind these troubles may be deeper than you think. These can lead to problems with attention, memory, planning, organisation, emotions, self belief and social interactions. Quite often when you can clearly identify what it is causing the problem, the solution becomes much easier.
For example, you might find yourself constantly running out of time and being late.
Is it because you forget to prepare everything you need?
Do you under or overestimate how much time you have to complete things?
Perhaps things often pop up that you didn’t expect.
It’s easy to see that same dilemma does not have the same cause.
What’s Involved During the Assessment?
WebNeuro assesses strengths and weaknesses relating to your cognitive, emotional and social abilities. The online platform allows for easy access, self-paced and supported completion of the assessment. All of this can be completed from anywhere you can access a computer and internet.
Social and Emotional
Once on this platform, you will be required to complete a variety of self-report questions to identify certain aspects of your social and emotional wellbeing.
These cover areas such as
- Emotional Resilience
- Negativity Bias
- Social Skills
Following this you will undertake the cognitive aspect of the assessment. This requires the completion of 12 different tasks taking between 1 and 10 minutes to assess different cognitive abilities such as:
- Sustained attention
- Working memory (Verbal and Numerical)
- Executive Function
- Recognition of emotion
- Impulse control
- Sensorimotor processing
Your results are then analysed in reference to a comparative global data base controlled for factors such as age and gender. This ensures your results are reliable and reflective of your demographic.
Within 14 days of completion, Brain Care will receive a comprehensive report with your results. At this stage a consultation will be booked with Clinical Director and Senior Psychologist Nerida Saunders to discuss results and options for the future. Consultations via phone or online video call are also available to suit your needs.
